Nevada auto insurance requirements
25/50/20 ($25,000 bodily injury per person, $50,000 per accident, $20,000 property damage). Nevada is an at-fault state; PIP is not required and uninsured motorist coverage is optional. No change in 2023-2026.
State minimums are a legal floor, not a recommendation. One serious accident can exceed them, so we quote higher limits side by side.
Workers' compensation in Nevada
Every Nevada employer with one or more employees must carry workers' compensation. A sole proprietor with no employees is not required to cover themselves, except that sole proprietors who are licensed contractors (NRS 624.020) must secure coverage when working within the scope of their license.

Contractors in Nevada
Contractors are licensed statewide by the Nevada State Contractors Board, and a license bond is required in an amount from $1,000 to $500,000 set by the Board based on license type, monetary limit and the applicant's financial responsibility.
We write general liability, workers' comp, commercial auto and equipment coverage, issue certificates and additional insured endorsements, and place license and contract bonds. Start with the Contractor General Liability Supplemental.
